CORNWALL IN ENGLAND

Hi, my name is Rupert and I live in a town called Saltash, in the county of Cornwall.  My town has a population of about 100,000 people, which means that it is about half the size of Mostoles.  In my town there is a big river, called the River Tamar.  In the summer, I like to go canoeing on the river with my friends.

 

The nearest big city to Saltash is called Plymouth.  Plymouth is a famous city in British history.  When the Spanish Armada fought the English in 1588, the English boats set sail from Plymouth.  And in the 17^th century, the Pilgrims set sail from Plymouth to go to America.

Hello! I’m Ariana Silva and I come from the United States. In the United States I have lived in two different cities. The first city I lived in was Wheaton.  This city is in the state of Illinois.  Wheaton is a city that is one hour away from Chicago.  Wheaton is a small city that is similar to Mostoles. In Wheaton, I went to elementary school, middle school and high school.

              

Wheaton is famous for its courthouse because Wheaton is the county seat. That means that Wheaton has lots of lawyers and judges. I lived in Wheaton for 18 years of my life!

Los niños y niñas de Primer Ciclo han realizado una salida al Parque Liana para conocer “El huerto de Juan Zanahoria”. Cristina Gutiérrez con su escrito y Elsa Lafarga con su dibujo, nos lo explican. Ambas son de 1º de Primaria.
